Getting Started
Begin with what you have.
For an existing home, photos and a measured layout help us understand the spaces and how they connect. Client-provided scans can help capture approximate dimensions; important measurements still need confirmation.
Helpful project information may include:

What makes a remote project workable?
What measurements are most helpful?
For a remodel or addition, begin with overall room dimensions, wall locations, ceiling heights, and the sizes and positions of doors and windows. Photos help explain what the measurements describe. We can identify additional dimensions needed for your particular project.
What if some existing conditions are unclear?
A scan or photo cannot show every concealed condition. If the work depends on an uncertain dimension, framing connection, or existing structure, we identify the information that needs to be checked locally before relying on it in the drawings.
Can every project be completed remotely?
Suitability depends on the project, the information available, and the local permit and professional requirements. Send us the project location first so we can discuss those requirements and whether local measurement or other professional involvement is needed.
